Personal data we collect about you

The personal data we collect about you depends on the particular products and/or services we provide to you. We will collect and use the following personal data about you:

  • Identity Data includes your first name, last name, any previous names, username or similar identifier, including general account information;
  • Contact Data includes your billing address, delivery address, email address and telephone numbers;
  • Financial Data includes bank account and payment card details, including details about payments to and from you and other details of products and services you have purchased from us
  • Technical Data includes internet protocol (IP) address, your login data, browser type and version, time zone setting and location, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system and platform, device ID and other technology on the devices you use to access this website, products and services;
  • Profile Data includes purchases or orders made by you, your interests, preferences, feedback and survey responses;

We may also collect, use and share aggregated data such as statistical or demographic data which is not personal data as it does not directly (or indirectly) reveal your identity. For example, we may aggregate individuals' Usage Data to calculate the percentage of users accessing a specific website feature in order to analyse general trends in how users are interacting with our website to help improve the website and our service offering.

We typically do not collect special categories of personal data about individuals to deliver for our product and services. In some circumstances, it is necessary for us to process special categories of personal data of our employees. Other than where such personal data is made public by the individual themselves, such processing would only be undertaken as necessary for us to exercise our rights and obligations as an employer (including for occupational health purposes), protect the vital interests of individuals, establish or defend legal claims or with the explicit consent of the individual(s) concerned.

We collect and use this personal data for the purposes described in the section ‘How and why we use your personal data’ below. If you do not provide personal data we ask for, it may delay or prevent us from providing products and/or services to you.

Our legal basis for processing your data

Our legal basis for collecting and using personal data will depend on the personal data concerned and the specific context in which we collect it. We will normally process your data for the purposes described in this policy, based on one or more of the following legal grounds:

  • We process your data in order to provide a service you’ve asked for under a contract;.
  • We may process your data for our legitimate interests and those of third parties, where these are not overridden by your privacy and data protection interests or fundamental rights and freedoms;.
  • Where relevant, we may process your data when necessary to protect the vital interests of you or another person;.

Marketing

We will use your personal data to send you updates (by email, text message, telephone or post) about our products and services, including exclusive offers, promotions or new products and services.

We have a legitimate interest in using your personal data for marketing purposes (see above ‘How and why we use your personal data’). This means we do not usually need your consent to send you marketing information. If we change our marketing approach in the future so that consent is needed, we will ask for this separately and clearly.

You do, however, have the right to opt out of receiving marketing communications at any time by:

  • using the ‘unsubscribe’ link in emails or;

We will always treat your personal data with the utmost respect and never sell or share it with other organisations outside the Minimum group for marketing purposes.

Who we share your personal data with

We routinely share personal data with:

  • Minimum group companies;
  • third parties we use to help deliver our products and services to you, eg payment and transaction service providers, hosting service providers, support and monitoring services, and other technology providers;
  • other third parties we use to help us run our business, eg marketing agencies or website hosts;
  • our bank[s];

We only allow those organisations to handle your personal data if we are satisfied they take appropriate measures to protect your personal data. 

We or the third parties mentioned above occasionally also share personal data with:

  • our external auditors, eg in relation to the audit of our accounts, in which case the recipient of the information will be bound by confidentiality obligations;
  • our and their professional advisors (such as lawyers and other advisors), in which case the recipient of the information will be bound by confidentiality obligations;
  • law enforcement agencies, courts, tribunals and regulatory bodies to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations;

Transferring your personal data out of the UK and EEA

The right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing (including profiling) that produces legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affects you

Please note that Automated Decision-Making currently does not take place on our websites or in our services.
The right to withdraw consent
If you have provided us with a consent to use your personal data you have a right to withdraw that consent easily at any time. This may mean we are not able to provide certain products or services to you and we will advise you if this is the case.

Withdrawing consent will not affect the lawfulness of our use of your personal data in reliance on that consent before it was withdrawn
